Glashutte Original PanoMaticReserve XL Watches Really Different
A German watch maker owned by the French contributes a watch to charity sold to benefit the Italian Cancer Research Organization. Kind of ironic really, but the watch in question is very cool. Glashutte Original took its very popular PanoMaticReserve XL Watch and have put it in some new clothing. The new black and yellow bumble bee look is sporty and suave - certainly something I hope that they will think about making more widely. The 42mm case is in black PVD stainless steel. It contrasts nicely with the neon yellow on the dial, for the hand, and as the stitching on the strap. While the actual differences between this model and the standard PanoMaticReserve XL watches isn't that great, the watch really feels different.
It was the Glashutte Original watches company, which introduced the PanoMaticReserve XL watch, the most astounding timekeeper of the event. This mechanical watch is sculptured in stainless steel and is accented with audacious touches of yellow. Equipped with a power reserve indicator, as well as an exceptional "panorama" large date display, it represents a fine union of iconic German watchmaking values and sports-themed elegant design.
The Glashutte Original PanoMaticReserve XL watch comes with a case, measuring 42 mm in diameter. The watch case features an extremely attractive lustrous finish, which is achieved due to PVD treatment. It produces a powerful effect, along with a satin black matte dial.
The dial of the Glashutte Original watch is completed with a minute track, small seconds counter, panorama date, as well as the power reserve scale, performed in brilliant yellow. The dial also exposes shapely alpha hour and minute hands, rendered in polished steel and finished in Superluminova material. Thus, the robust low-light visibility is ensured. Enhancing the beauty of this sportive model is a "Trieste" fabric strap, which reveals two rows of neon yellow stitching.
The unique Glashutte Original PanoMaticReserve XL watch accommodates an in-house manufactured movement - Caliber 90-03. It demonstrates a number of elements inherent to the celebrated Saxon watchmaking: ribbing and beveled edges on the bridges, hand-engraved surfaces, as well as blued steel screws.
The list of the distinctive technical features, Glashutte Original is characterized by, is highlighted by a duplex system of swan-neck springs, meant for fine tuning the rate and beat, as well as a three quarter winding rotor with a 21K gold peripheral mass. The movement features an oversized balance wheel, moving back and forth at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates eighteen diminutive, yet precious screws, sculptured in gold.
